The first season of Sailor Moon is also referred to as Sailor Moon "Classic." This first season probably had the most changes from the original Japanese version but also has some very memorable voice acting! The Dic English dub is close to many people's hearts
because it has a lot of character and was the "first anime" for MANY people in North America.
The story follows the manga and we see "Serena" meet all of the inner "Sailor Scouts" for the first time while fighting the "Negaverse" led by Queen Beryl and her 4 dedicated Generals. Episode 30 climaxes as the Princess is revealed and the intense final battle starts with a trip to the past in episode 39.
