These are lessons for English speakers to learn Japanese. They aired on Japanese TV in what looks like the late 80s or early 90s from the cheesy music and effects to the clothing styles.
Despite how old these videos are, they are a great tool for learning Japanese!

This series follows the adventures of David Roberts, an American businessman living in Japan (although he has a pretty thick Australian accent =P). We learn along with him as he shops, works, builds relationships and engages in typical Japanese lifestyle activities. These lessons teach about Japanese culture as well as language.

The TV captures are from an unkown source. I re-encoded the originals to XviD .avi to clean up the video quality then encoded them to .rmvb

28 episodes total. There are supposed to be 40 episodes but after much searching online I found that episodes 22 and 30-40 are missing from every place I find these lessons =(
