The story is about Koizumi Risa, a super tall girl, and Ootani Atsushi, an unusually short guy. The pair look so hilarious as they bicker with each other that they are labeled the "All Hanshin Kyoujin" (a popular comedy duo in Japan similar to Laurel and Hardy) by their teachers and classmates. They decide to have a competition to see who can get a boyfriend/girlfriend first - let the comedy begin!
This is one of the funniest romantic comedy anime series I have seen (besides Ouran HS Host Club =P)! One of the best things about it is that all the characters speak "Kansai-ben" (dialect of Japanese spoken mainly in Osaka). kero-chan of Cardcaptor Sakura is another example of an anime character who speaks Kansai dialect^^
