Kindaichi Shonen no Jikembo 3 ("Files of Young Kindaichi 3") stars a fangirl favorite, Matsumoto Jun (from Hana Yori Dango and Kimi wa Petto), as Kindaichi in this mystery J-Drama. This series aired in Japan in 2001. The first 2 "Kindaichi" series starred Domoto Tsuyoshi (From Summer Snow and To Heart) and the 2005 "Files of Kindaichi" starred Kamenashi Kazuya (from Nobuta wa Produce & Gokusen 2) so there are quite a few popular names attached to this running series!

The story is about a young boy who is the grandson of a famous detective. Despite his high IQ, he did poorly in school; yet he becomes a master detective through his use of logic. There is plenty of suspense, romance, and comedy for everyone to enjoy!
